Stacy Lewis shoots 73, leads LPGA Thailand by a shot

Stacy Lewis didn’t have her best stuff Saturday, but she was still able to keep the lead at the Honda LPGA Thailand.

Lewis, who entered the third round leading by three shots, carded a 1-over 73 to see her lead shrink to just one shot over Amy Yang at Siam Country Club’s Pattaya Old Course in Chonburi.

“It was a bit all over the place today,” Lewis said. “Hit some good shots, hit some shots too far.”

Lewis, ranked No. 3 in the Rolex Rankings, birdied her opening hole, the par-5 first, before bogeying four of her next five holes to fall out of first place. She added a birdie at the par-4 13th and the eagled the par-4 15th to regain her lead before closing with a bogey at the par-5 18th.

She is now at 13-under 203 while Yang is alone in second after shooting 71. Sandra Gal is third at 11 under after a third-round 68.
