For the first time since 1995, Florida is the SEC champion.

The fifth-ranked Gators won their conference tournament Sunday with a final-round 4-under 284 for a 17-shot victory over Arkansas. It’s the largest margin of victory since Georgia won by 18 shots in 1999.

The victory was Florida’s fourth of the season.

Individually, Arkansas senior Stacy Lewis went wire-to-wire in winning her second SEC Championship. The 12th-ranked Lady Razorbacks second-place finish is their best mark at the conference tournament in school history.

Florida freshman Hannah Yun (pictured), 16, was tied with Lewis heading to the 16th hole, but made bogey, shot 72 and finished second.
