Alabama, Lewis win Lady Puerto Rico

Arkansas’ Stacy Lewis shot 8-under 208 Tuesday at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic to win her third consecutive college title, while No. 16 Alabama won the team title.

Lewis, No. 2 in the Golfweek/Sagarin College Rankings, followed a 4-under 68 in the first round with consecutive 70s to win by four shots over Purdue’s Maude Aimee Leblanc (68).

Alabama shot 2-over 290 in the final round – the day’s low round – to rally from fourth place to a three-shot victory. The Tide finished at 16-over 880, while LSU was second after a final-round 296. Alabama finished ahead of three top-10 teams.
