REUNION, Fla. - Tuesday’s final round at Golfweek’s Spring Invitational should be a shootout. Three Florida teams will start the final 18 holes at Reunion Resort’s Independence Course within three shots of each other.

No. 13 Nova Southeastern is the 36-hole leader at 13-over 589 after shooting 292 Monday. West Florida shot 294 and is two shots back, while No. 6 Lynn is another shot back after shooting 300.

Lynn’s Steven Brame has a three-shot lead in the individual race with a 4-under 140 total. He followed his first-round 67 with a 73. Carson-Newman’s Gavin Hay (70) and Lander’s Roberto Nasalli-Rocca (72) are tied for second at 1 under par.

Nova Southeastern and West Florida are two teams that are capitalizing in their spring opener on the experience they gained in the fall.
