Kimberly Kim WDs from Kraft
GOLFWEEK STAFF

RANCHO MIRAGE, Calif. – Kimberly Kim, the 2006 U.S. Women’s Amateur champion, withdrew from the Kraft Nabisco Championship Monday.

The reason is not known, nor is it known whether she ever arrived at the tournament site. Kim did not immediately return a message left on her cell phone Wednesday.

Kim was one of six amateurs in the field. No one will replace her, reducing the field to 110 players.

Kim, a high school junior from Arizona, is No. 1 in the Golfweek/Titleist Junior Rankings. She will represent the United States at the 2008 Curtis Cup.
