Haley Stephens, of Greer, S.C., shot a tournament-record 66 in the final round of the Joe Cheves Junior Invitational to win by two shots.
Stephens, a high school senior who has made a verbal commitment to Texas, finished at 3-under 141 at Mimosa Hills Golf & Country Club in Morganton, N.C.
Stephens is No. 63 in the
Golfweek/Titleist Junior Rankings and 30th in the Class of 2009.
